He began working for Denver7 in May 2006 as a helicopter reporter and morning traffic presenter. He got a job after college and has been covering Denver’s traffic since 1996 on radio and television. Jayson has won various accolades from the industry for his reporting and production. Most recently, the Emmy winner for Best Morning Show Additionally, he has received individual Emmy awards for live reporting and breaking news.

Jayson Luber Career

He began covering Denver traffic for radio and television after graduating in 1996. Later, in May 2006, he started working for Denver7 as an afternoon helicopter reporter and photographer and a morning traffic anchor. Jayson worked as the helicopter news/traffic reporter for KOA Radio before joining Denver7. While there, he assisted in the establishment of AirWatch Traffic, which offered traffic updates to various radio stations in Denver.

Jayson is currently Denver7’s traffic anchor and transportation reporter. Driving You Crazy is a weekly podcast on transportation that is hosted by Jayson. About a variety of transportation-related themes and issues, he has spoken with hundreds of guests. Any podcast app, including iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify, and Podbean, offers access to the show’s audio content. On the morning show every Tuesday, Denver’s traffic expert discusses a story titled What’s Driving You Crazy on the Roads? Luber works as a part-time forecaster for the Denver7 Weather team.
