DPR Ian, also known as Christian Yu, is a South Korean-based, Australian singer, rapper, and director. He was a Yedang Entertainment boy group C-Clown member between 2012 and 2015. On October 26, 2020, Yu released his debut solo single “So Lovely” under his co-founded label Dream Perfect Regime (DPR). On July 29, 2022, he released his first studio album, Moodswings Into Order, was published. In 2022, he was the tenth most streamed K-pop male Solo Artist globally on Spotify.

Ian studied at Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts. When he was 18, he started uploading videos to his YouTube channel, B-Boy B. Yu. Dpr Ian attended the University of Sydney for a year after graduating from high school. Studying physics and art before dropping out. Christian uploaded Bboy videos on his YouTube channel and became popular after that. To pursue his career, he traveled to South Korea from Australia.

Then he was signed by Yedang Entertainment, and they made a Korean band called C-Clown, with six members, including him. Maru, Siwoo, TK, Kang Jun, and Ray were the other five members. His nickname was Rom, which was a spin-off of his surname. Every member and his fan used to call him Rom.
